Marked purchased through SetApp keeps hanging

Question

I purchased a lifetime license for Marked 3 via SetApp a few days ago and its performance has been well below par. The application hangs on launch almost 98% of the time.

I'm working on MacOS Tahoe 26.6.2.

Incidentally, I'm not interested in SetApp's services so I have tried launching Marked both from within and outside of the SetApp collection directory. This has had no impact on my problem.

I'd like to reinstall Marked, preferably from this website, to see if that resolves my issue. But I don't want to lose my paid license.

I can provide a license for you for the Paddle (website) version if you want to email your Setapp receipt to me. I doubt it will make a difference, though, so if you can use Help->Report an Issue to send me any configuration you've set up, that would help.

I'm curious what exactly precedes a hang. Does it happen when you open a specific file, or all files, or does it just hang on launch? This isn't a common issue, so I'd need more info to diagnose.
