Marked purchased through SetApp keeps hanging

I can provide a license for you for the Paddle (website) version if you want to email your Setapp receipt to me. I doubt it will make a difference, though, so if you can use Help->Report an Issue to send me any configuration you've set up, that would help.

I'm curious what exactly precedes a hang. Does it happen when you open a specific file, or all files, or does it just hang on launch? This isn't a common issue, so I'd need more info to diagnose.

I've sent one report through the internal crash report system.

To answer your question: Marked hangs on launch on every file, apparently regardless of what other applications I have running.

UPDATE: Now trying to open Marked I get the following alert:
"This copy of Marked requires an active Setapp account installed on your Mac. Download and install Setapp to use Marked and discover even more awesome applications."

As I said, I don't need or want to have Setapp cluttering up my space. This proviso--the requirement for an active Setapp account--was not clearly indicated when I made the Setapp purchase, and discovering it now is, naturally, quite annoying.

Not to mention that having Marked systematically hang if this requirement is not met reflects badly on Marked.

I would very much appreciate receiveing the license for the Paddle version.
