Install - App Location

I think I may have done the install incorrectly. Unfortunately, I do not remember the steps I followed and I think I may have tried multiple times. In any event, I now have one copy of Marked.app; however it is in my Downloads folder; there is no copy in the Applications folder. I did start a (7) day subscription in order to do the trial. And I received a confirmation email for the Marked-3 (7) day trial from Paddle. Also, in Marked, "Marked-License Information" shows I am (1) day into the trial; although the screens in Marked have a red label on the top right that say "Trial Expired". Again, I started the trial only yesterday. Did I do the install incorrectly? Should I redo the install, and if so, how? In particular, I am wondering what, if anything, I need to do before cancelling the trial and making the in app purchase. Thank you!
