Can anyone please advise on the complete process for passing a Pandoc citation key drawn from Zotero through Marked to obtain a proper citation and reference list?
I have Pandoc working on my machine, and have .md documents with correctly formatted Pandoc Zotero citation keys. I also have a Pandoc compatible .bib file at the ready.
But I can't get these elements to speak to each other and need your help.

I need more details on the ask. Have you set up Pandoc as a custom processor and just need to figure out how to pass it a citation file? Or do you need help setting up Pandoc in Marked?

I need help setting up Pandoc. Sorry, Brett. I realize that's a vague ask.
Specifically I want to adapt instructions for Marked 2 to the Marked 3 UI to work with a live Zotero .bib file...in Obsidian and Scrivener.

Nick says to insert, in the Marked 2 Preferences/Advanced pane, the Pandoc path and arguments passed to the processor, thus
Path: /usr/local/bin/pandoc
Args: -f markdown -t html5 --bibliography=Users/[Name]/[Directory]/liveZotero.bib -s
Where do I put that info in the new Marked 3 UI?

You're going to have to explain this like I'm 5 years old. So for nothing I've tried gets me the results I'm looking for.
I think you understand that what I want to do is drop an .MD file with Pandoc-style citation keys onto Marked and get formatted inline citations and a bibliography at the end of my text.
This seems to be the path to my Pandoc installation: /opt/homebrew/Cellar/pandoc/3.11/bin/pandoc
My arguments are (from what I can gather): -f markdown+smart -t html5 --bibliography ~/ZoteroDB/bibtex-library.bib
Do I also need to put the path to my CSL in my arguments? ...I believe that would be -csl ~/ZoteroDB/styles/modern-language-association.csl
In my experiments I've confirmed that my path to my .bib file is correct. And Marked throws no errors. It does not however process my Pandoc citation to produce my inline cite or my bibliography.
I really hope you can help; I'm stumped.
