Text formatting in export to DOCX?

Question

How much of the formatting shown in Marked 2's preview should I expect to see retained when I export to DOCX format? I have a sample MD file with lots of formatting ranging from the basics (headings, lists, bold, italics, links) to some of the more advanced (a table, a footnote, code block, blockquote). When I print or export to PDF, the generated file seems as expected. When I export to DOCX, however, all of the text is there but very little formatting is retained when I open the generated file in MS Word.

Nope, it won't cause any issues. Joining the TestFlight is just a temporary thing. You can make test purchases in it and they go to the sandbox, no actual charge, and no effect on your normal account. When the direct version is available, you can just delete the TestFlight version and install directly.

i assume you're on Marked 2? DOCX in 2 is terrible. V3 has completely rewritten Word support: https://markedapp.com/join-the-beta

Good call: I am on Marked 2. That's great news RE DOCX support in the next version.

My Marked 2 install is via download rather than the App Store. Is joining the TestFlight beta going to cause wrinkles if I want to purchase a v3 license directly rather than via the App Store once v3 is released?
