Marked 2 or Marked 3

I'm new to your application and the use of Markdown extensively for writing both short and long form.

I'm looking for the following capabilities mostly for PDF exports:

  1. ability to combine multiple MD files into one PDF file
  2. inserting page headers and footers with cooresponding attributes such as date and page numbering
  3. centering or positioning (side-by-side) images (if I export as an HTML file from my editor it works but not to a PDF)

I'm sure I'll come across more needs but since I can't download Markdown 2 without purchasing I can't verify if it will do what I need it to do and since I'm unfamiliar with this whole process I'm not sure I want to purchase Markdown 3 as I would purchase with the Permanent license.

I guess that's another related question, if I go with the Monthly or Yearly license, is their an upgrade path to a Permanent license.

If it does what I need it to do, I'd go with Permanent unless going from the monthly license to a permanent is not an incremental.

Look forward to your input.

thanks

Marked 2 will suit your needs. As far as centering or otherwise positioning images, you'll need to use some CSS, and if you have different needs for different images in the same document, you'll need to use some HTML to position them. But everything else you list, Marked 2 can do.

There's no upgrade path from a subscription to a permanent license. There is an upgrade path from Marked 2 to Marked 3 if you purchase via the Mac App Store.

thank you, very much appreciated.
