I regret buying the Mac App Store version and not Paddle

Because MAS updates have to go through Apple review, and Apple has been taking over a week to approve updates, the MAS version is sorely behind the other two versions. If you're anxious to have the latest version faster, you can either switch to the Setapp version, or contact me with your MAS receipt and I'll provide a code for the Paddle version. This works best with Lifetime licenses, because I can't really cancel your MAS version and start a new Paddle subscription on your behalf. The price is the same, so if you're a monthly or yearly subscriber, your best bet is to cancel on the MAS and purchase through the Paddle version (free trial at https://markedapp.com).
