Normal text wrap disabled?

In default Markdown, and Github rendering, a bare newline inside a paragraph is usually treated as a space, not a <br>. Do you have any styles that preserve this?

As a prose writer, I break all my propositions onto new lines for ease of editing, but I don't actually want linebreaks.

Example:

Aside from replacing structural components of the body,
predominantly assembled from amino acids,
the primary purpose of eating is to acquire fuel for the generation of energy
along with small quantities of specific components (vitamins and minerals)
needed as co-enzymes in the metabolic processes that convert those fuels into energy.

On GitHub this is all rendered to a single line.

Do you have Settings->Processor->Retain line breaks in paragraphs enabled? That's the only way you would be seeing hard breaks added.

Thank you! That fixed it.
