I see the older issue, which was about refresh for displaying local links, but my problem is that local links are not followed at all, and display a Missing File error instead when I hover over their text (displayed red). Here's an example line with a local link:
**Start here:** [`docs/README.md`](docs/README.md) — the index, headline findings, and a suggested reading order (including a 10-module mini-course).
The file was opened from the directory containing docs/
