It looks the map is still there but hidden? The mouse cursor changes when I move it to the location where the map is supposed to be and I can even drag and pull up/down to move around in the document.
This led me to a whole rewrite of the mini map, which had been developed long before the tab feature. It was basically unworkable to preserve the embedded image between load-in load out of the view when switching tabs, so now it's an actual NSView layer on top, which also led me to rewriting the whole bookmarking system. So it's been a bit of work, but the next update will definitely resolve this.
I often need to compare long documents that differ in small parts, mini map helps me identifying the relevant parts or find certain sections way faster! So far I've been using Sublime Text but now wanted to enjoy the rendered versions and therefore am very happy this mini map exists!
