Marked 3 allows a user to define the document width on export. Request an option to define both the export page width and the content width (i.e., the images and text) separately.

I'm unclear on this. Do you mean in addition to the page margins (which affect the content width)?
I understand that page width can/should be defined within each and every MD theme. This would be a quick way, at the end, to override if necessary/desired.
Page Width prompt (px): Actual width of the output document (PDF, HTML).
Content Width prompt (px): Actual width of the content within the document (essentially the page width minus the left+right margins).
