Navigating through CriticMarkup comments

Viewed 9

Hi,

I love the CriticMarkup support, and the e and E keyboard shortcuts work great for navigating between edits.

However, these navigation shortcuts don't seem to include CriticMarkup comments (only insertions, deletions, and substitutions). Since I use comments as embedded annotations to flag areas requiring deeper revision work (essentially a manuscript to-do list), I'd love for them to be included in the navigation flow.

Currently, the only way to locate comments is to manually scroll through the document and wait for the sidebar to appear, which is time-consuming and error-prone.

Would it be possible to extend the e/E navigation to include CriticMarkup comments? Or, if I'm missing something, I'd appreciate any guidance on better way to find them.

Thanks

Martin

That's a good idea. Not currently implemented, but I'll look into it, shouldn't be hard. Wondering if that needs to be optional (a setting) or if it should just be default.

Oh wow, that's fantastic. And the separate keystrokes make so much sense (no extra settings, and can be ignored for those who don't need it).

Thank you
