A mini feature request for Marked 2:

Please promote the preferences setting "Retain line breaks in paragraphs" into
the gear menu.

I saw myself switching this so frequently that I've already assigned a Keyboard
Maestro macro to tick/untick the setting ;-)

But this is a ugly workaround. A nice menu entry with hotkey would be perfect!

BTW, thanks a lot for the implementation of the jk keys for scrolling. Only
a tiny detail but much appreciated by a Vim user!

What use case do you have that requires flipping the preference? Just
not sure I understand the need to do so.

My Vim default setting is hard wrapping to 80 columns and in many cases I prefer a fixed line length for the html (or text) output too, e.g. for many discussion boards, to increase readability if the text is long – but not for all boards.

For email: If I decide to send the mail as html, w/o fixed line breaks; if I send it as text it depends on the content, e.g. with enumerations I prefer fixed lengths for nice indentations. But not so if I send the mail also to somebody who likely will read it on the iPhone …

    Wow, perfect :-)
    I really appreciate this!

BTW, '"Smart" typography' would be another good candidate for the Quick Toggles submenu …
