Support for YAML code block

Right now, YAML is not supported for syntax highlighting. When one tries to specify yaml in a fenced code block, the result is the same as with no language specification-- "and", "by", "that", "in", "be", "for" all get bolded, everything else is left untouched as far as I can tell. Clearly this highlighting has nothing to do with YAML. Barring actually adding YAML highlighting, why not make it so that, if a language is specified in a fenced code block but support is not available, no highlighting takes place? Irrelevant highlighting is worse than none.
