Any plans for editing functionality?
First of all great work on the app! Do you plan on adding live editing functions? I use an app on Windows call MarkdownPad and it would be great if Marked could do the same thing on Mac OS X.
Thanks,
-Ian

You can use Command ⌘

on Mac

Well, first, the whole idea behind Marked is to be editor agnostic, i.e. allow you to use any editor and still have all the functionality of Marked available. I highly recommend Byword and MultiMarkdown Composer, both available in the App Store. Marked works perfectly with both of them.
That being said, I may add some very basic editing capabilities in the future. *May*. No promises.

With complete respect for Ian and his request, I actually like the current editor agnostic concept.
Applications such as Byword and iA Writer presume to be editors first and previewers second. I find that gets in the way.
I really enjoy being able to open any
.md
file and have Marked display it as a fully-formatted document. Then, a quickCommand-E
brings up vim where I can edit (and save/preview) with ease. The very concept of letting me chose my editor and have Marked take care of the rest is what drew me to this application and keeps me using it over Byword or iA Writer.
Thanks,
Frank
