Export to .doc or .pages format

This would be great feature - I like to write in md using foldingtext, then do page layout in Pages. But exporting using rtf doesn't match headings with Pages styles, so creating an unnecessary extra layer of work.

Or is there a workaround?

There is no standard set of header styles that can be associated in a Word or Pages document, so it's pretty close to impossible to transfer the XML/HTML output of Markdown to any RTF format accurately. The next version of Marked has DOC export now, but it's not going to be very impressive. It mimics an HTML import into Word, but not quite perfectly. The best workaround at this time is to export HTML and import it into a document containing your own settings for header levels and see how it does with it.
