Copy&paste and Line breaks

Hi!
I'm trying to copy&paste some text to Microsoft OneNote. And to make stuff survive/don't be too badly mangled, I'm creating my custom CSS. (Have to use 'px', not 'em' and some things like that.)

But one thing I haven't figured out yet, maybe you can help/shed some light on this:
When I have just line break,<br/> (two spaces at the end of line in the markdown), it renders visually OK in Marked2 and HTML source looks fine, but when I copy&paste it into OneNote, the line breaks have seemingly become paragraphs ...
I also tried "Copy Rich Text", I saw no difference (except that it lost some other elements/margins etc ...

Any hints/ingsights?
