Day One App Support

On one of the pages on the Marked site, it reads: "If you look in the “Share” menu of a Day One entry, you’ll see Marked as an option. This works with version 1 or version 2, and will open your current document for preview in Marked."

I am not seeing this in Day One (and I do see that one of Day One updates mentioned support for Marked). So what am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

I had to change the application name when Marked 2 was released on the
App Store. I'm not certain that Day One has caught up with this change
yet, and that's probably why it's breaking. I'll check back in with
them, hopefully this will be resolved in the next release.

    Thanks!

Hey, thanks Brett for the quick reply. I love your app a lot! I’m still trying to learn how to best utilize it with some of my other favorites (Day One, Mars Edit, et. al.).

    I’ll be patient!

    Thanks again,

    Eric

MarsEdit support should work in the current version, just pull down
Preview -> MarsEdit Preview and start editing a post in MarsEdit. Let me
know if that's not working for you, and what version of MarsEdit you
    have.

I can open a blog entry in MarsEdit (3.6.5) (6311) to edit, click over to Marked 2, select Preview MarsEdit, and it will open the text I currently have in that post. But Marked is not giving me the live preview as I continue to edit. If I want to see the preview, I have to repeat the process I just described.

Are you hitting save in MarsEdit? It won't update with every keystroke,
but should update when you hit ⌘S.

I have tried the ⌘S method, but it does not update.

NOTE: I am using an evaluation copy of MarsEdit (sorry I didn’t mention before) trying to decide which blogging app to use on my mac (between ME and Blogo, I guess). I don’t know if there is some functionality that is turned off in the unregistered copy….

No, but it's possible that the non App Store version might have an
    issue. I'll download and test.

    Thanks,
    Brett

Seriously, your attention is amazing and very much appreciated. But please don’t consider me a priority, and unless you think others might have similar experiences I can be very patient.

    Thanks!
