Can Marked 2 construct a title page based on the YAML?

(I could create a preprocessor that makes one, but I do not want to reinvent the wheel if there is a standard method to do this.)

    No, Marked has no functionality for this, but it could be accomplished relatively easily with a custom preprocessor.
