Accented characters not properly visualized

Hi,

I'm italian and we normally use accented characters like è (e') and Marked2 seems it is not able to visualize it correctly.
I know that is due probably to different character encoding, but I've always used it ant it works perfecly both in VSCode preview and also in GitHub site...
I'm using a MacOS. In the attached picture an example of a markdown code with preview both in VSCode and in Marked2.

Is here someone that knows how to help me fixing it...
