Interface with Zettlr
There is a program Zettlr (https://www.zettlr.com/ and https://github.com/Zettlr/Zettlr) which allows you to edit markdown files. Does Marked2 interact with it in a nice way?

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

I haven't tested, but I see no indication that it wouldn't work.

Marked watches text files for changes, doesn't matter what changes them. Any editor that works with text files on your disk will work with Marked.
