Opening, Closing and Switching files is buggy

I'm using Mountain Lion. I am only able to properly preview a .md file if I goto File > Open. Drag and drop opens the file but displays it as Markdown (but not exactly, weird characters) instead of HTML. Thanks

Could you post an example file for me?

When a Marked window is open (or Quick Overview screen) and I drag a file from Sublime or OS X finder window it displays as Markdown instead of HTML. I have attached an example file.

I also just noticed 2 more issues, I'll gladly submit them in a different ticket if needed.:

    1. When I save as HTML, I loses the Github flavors, specifically for code formatting

    2. When I save as a PDF, marked converts the .md into a 1 page PDF which makes it unreadable in some cases. An option of multiple pages would be nice.

    Thanks for this App!

I didn't get an attachment on this. Make sure you're logged into the support site and using the "Attach file" section on the comment form.

    1. Are you talking about syntax highlighting? The highlighting is generated via JavaScript and export in 1.4 doesn't include that JS. If you need it, you can include highlight.js in the exported file with this in the head:

    2. In 1.4, to get paginated PDF output, you just Print -> Print to PDF.

Thanks for the clarifications. I have created an account and attached the file.

Your file opens perfectly for me in Marked 1.4.2. Do you have a custom processor enabled at all?

No custom processor. It works fine for File > Open... so that is good enough for me to use, it is the drag and drop that behaves poorly. Thanks for the quick responses!

That's still really odd. If you think of any reason that something might be awry in your system, or see anything similar in any other apps, please let me know.
