Marked hangs on opening this file
I have a textfile here that is plaintext copy of an OCR of a book I'm reading that has been "frankated" (translation per sentence inserted). So it's nice to be able to see it rendered, since that distinguishes the languages much more. However upon opening it just goes to 100% and hangs from there.
Is there something about this file that is off or is it just the sheer size? I thought making books was totally ok, so reading books should not pose too much of a problem, it's about 60 a4 pages of text.

It only appears to hang if you have smart typography turned on in preferences, so I think that there are either some quote pairs breaking or the UTF-8 characters are messing with it. I'll take a look at the latter issue, as that would be a Marked problem.
Either way, that isn't any kind of recognizable Markdown formatting, so you're not going to get readable results from it.

I can confirm it only hangs when having smart typography turned on, seems to work fine without.
The formatting emphasises the translated sentences in this format:
emphasis or emphasis (e.g., italics)
But bolding seems to work better actually for legibility.

Sure, but with the nested formatting and lack of newlines, it just comes out as a blob of text…
