Open with... Menu
It would be nice if marked would show up in the "Open With" menu. This would be very helpful, esp. when working with Ulysses 3. Acutally you can't work with Marked in a useful way, because it is not usable by other programs without the "open with" functionality.

I beg to differ about usefulness. You can open any document just by dragging from the toolbar to Marked's dock icon and not have to think about it again. That being said, the next version shows up in all Open With menus.

I really like Marked and I use it a lot. I also use Ulysses 3 right now and I think this is going to be the best editor in the universe, esp. for markdown and other text works.
I think you should team up with the soulmen knock at their door and ask for a free copy, as they recommend marked as state-of the-art markdown viewer. I'm sure this will pretty help you to improve markdown.
The actual problem is: There is no titlebar for dragging and dropping. (see screenshot). Viewers can only be invoked by a floating menu. And marked should definitely be in there.
Ulysses seems to save your work in a different way, so exporting the MD is not a solution because the live preview isn't working as well then, and to complete the pain: When exporting the MD file Ulysses exports all data including pics to the MD path making my desktop a mess when lots of pics are in the document. So a real preview, or the support of the new saving system would be a great improvement to marked. Just have a look at the screenshot and decide yourself if you would like to work that way as a writer. The export workaround is a catastrophe. It is like invoking photoshop for resizing a Facebook profile photo… Know what I mean?

External files edited in Marked will work fine in Marked, but Open In will be available in the next version of Marked. I worked closely with The Soulmen to make sure :).
