Exported Unicode String is broken

I tried to export my .md file with Vietnamese Unicode string to HTML. The result is broken (see screenshot & the md file).

    The output for me opens with all original characters (see attached image). Are you using a custom style or any custom processor?

    Also, could you attach the html file that Marked outputs for you?

    Hi Brett.
    I used Marked 1.3.1:

    • Unchecked "Include preview template in output": Unicode is broken
    • Checked "Include preview template in output": Unicode is fine

    Ah, for some reason the export is not rendering a complete document when the include preview is unchecked, thus there's no doctype to tell the browser to interpret as UTF-8. I'll do some testing and try to have a fix for the next version.

    In the meantime, you might try adding "Format: Complete" in the first line of the text file and seeing what results you get on the export.
