I don't currently have a way to fall back to another font, is there a reason you don't have Menlo? It is a problem I'm working to fix, but for now you'll need a copy of it. I can send you the font if you need it.

So just to check, is it possible then to reference any font in my Library/Fonts directory in a custom CSS file?
I have a few clients who have their own typefaces and I am interested in developing stylesheets for documentation we prepare for them.

If the font is web compatible and exists on your system, you can reference it in CSS. Note that exporting a document/style with a custom font used in that way requires that anyone viewing it also have that font installed in order to see what you're seeing.
