Marked stops updating previews

I haven't figured out what triggers it, but periodically, Marked stops updating the preview of a document. i.e., changing the text document and saving it doesn't lead Marked to change the preview. Moreover, it becomes non-responsive to changing the preview style. The only way to make the app responsive again is to quit it and restart it.

I'm not sure what's causing this problem or how to fix it.

    Does hitting ⌘R cause any response when this happens?

    It took a while for the described behavior to arise again. No, hitting ⌘R does not lead to any response when this happens.

    Could you try this:

    * Go to Terminal and type `defaults write com.brettterpstra.marky debugMode 1`
    * Open up Console.app
    * Leave it running while trying to replicate the issue
    * Once the issue begins, see if there are any errors logged in the console for Marked
    * Post any output you get from com.brettterpstra.marky here (you can use the search field to filter down to just those messages).

    Are the files moving at all while you're working on them? Also, are they stored on Dropbox?

    Thanks,
    Brett

    Brett,

    I haven't had the problem recur since our last exchange, and I can't get it to reproduce. For now, I have the error logging turned on, so I should be able to look up stuff in Console, should the problem recur.

    No, I wasn't moving the files, nor was I working with files stored on Dropbox.

    Thanks for the update, Moonhawk. Keep me posted if you do see anything out of the ordinary.
