Footnote support flawed
Hi. I'm using Mou http://mouapp.com/ on a Mac to write Markdown formatted posts that get saved to Dropbox and turned into a blog by Calepin http://calepin.co.
Mou is still in beta, and it doesn't yet display footnotes correctly, but Safari/Calepin does, so I thought I'd try using Marked. Unfortunately, Marked doesn't display footnotes the way Calepin does (see attached image).
Now, note that if I put an extra line between each footnote item, Marked then displays the footnotes correctly, but I couldn't see anywhere in the spec that said that was necessary, and I like the compactness of the source code the way it is.
Is this something you can fix?
Thanks.

Marked uses MultiMarkdown, and newlines are required in MMD v3. Not something I can easily fix. MMD documentation isn't great, but this is standard for the spec.
