Problem using custom processor

Processing larger files (~9500 words) with Pandoc is causing Marked 2 to hang for me. The files work just fine with pandoc on the command line and as a custom processor in Marked 1. They're fine with Marked 2's multimarkdown processor as well. But switch to the custom processor and Marked 2 freezes up.

I've attached a sample lorem ipsum file to demonstrate. The attached file runs fine for me as is. But if I add a (non-whitespace) character to it, Marked 2 hangs with pandoc.

One thing I've noticed on this: it's when I add command line arguments that it fails to run through pandoc. In fact, no matter what I put in the arguments box, it gets highlighted red, which I assume means that the program is reading it as invalid.

I've also tried to shuffle the command line arguments into a shell script, but no dice...

UPDATE: I've noticed that adding "--ignore args" to the command line within a wrapper script does work. I have absolutely no idea why, but thought I'd mention it in case it helps. The switch just tells pandoc to ignore all command-line arguments that are not regular pandoc options.

It sounds like we may have different problems. Pandoc seems to work on smaller files in my case and accepts arguments just fine. The stalling I'm seeing with larger files happens regardless of whether I've passed any arguments to pandoc.

For what it's worth, I see the red highlighting on arguments too. Adding (and removing) arguments produces messages in the console that the custom processor isn't found. E.g., passing the 'N' flag produces the message "Marked: Custom processor not found: -N". Pandoc accepts the arguments without any problem, however.

These do seem to be different then. Are you using a bibliography or other filters? I think bibliography is what causes fallback to internal for me...

Did both of you get the update that went out this morning? It should at least solve some of the additional argument features, as well as the hang on rendering large files. It also adds small indicator lights to the bottom bar when custom processors are enabled, showing on/off states per document.

It's available from Marked->Check for Updates if you haven't already received an update notice when launching.

Brett - Works like a charm. Thanks!

Albert - I'm not applying a custom template with Marked. I do usually use a bibliography, though. Hasn't given me any trouble.

I've discovered the same bug today and am working to track it down as soon as possible.
