quarantine error

I cannot open md files once Marked 2 has opened them

- drag onto app icon in dock, see file preview
- close file
- try to reopen file, get this error: Apple could not verify “Sentiment Tracking Prompt.md” is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy.

It is as if Marked 2 is adding quarrantine flag when it is run…?

For context, I can reproduce the issue with Marked 2, but I cannot by dropping it into a text editor. In the latter case it opens just fine every time.

I have never heard of this issue in the decade Marked 2 has been out, and I've never seen it myself, so this is baffling. I would just suggest trying the direct purchase version at https://marked2app.com (Free Trial) and seeing if you have the same issue. If that solves it, go ahead and use Help->Crossgrade in Marked 2 to get a free license for the Paddle version.
