Marked2 crashes when called from Bear
// Please enter a detailed description of the issue // Description of the issue: As requested by the ‘support’ of Bear:
Hello,
I’m willing to report this to the developer of Marked2, although I don’t really see how this is a problem with Marked2 as itself is working fine as I reported as well.
With regards,
Angelo Machils

Hi Angelo,
I have replicated the problem you reported and I can see Marked2
crashing. Can you courtesy report this issue to Marked2 developer?
Hopefully, he will fix this issue.

Madam, Sir,
I did a clean install of Sonoma on my M1 Mac Mini and now, whenever I
choose the option to preview the note in Marked2, this application
crashes. Bear itself is unaffected and Marked2 on itself works as well
when I start the application and open a MarkDown file.
I'm on the 'Pro' version of Bear and my copy of Marked2 is licensed.

The issue actually IS Marked, which is crashing on Sonoma with any small
files. There's a fix coming in the next week, sorry for the delay.

Hello,
Thank you for your answer. Weird though, a note of 2187 characters,
which, when trying to preview from Bear, crashes Marked2. But if I
export this note and then open directly from within Marked2, there is no
issue…

That is strange, in my experience thus far a note that size should crash
Marked every time. Regardless, I believe I have the problem solved but
will do some testing with Bear before I release.

Also wait for the fix. Here Marked2 crashes when I try to open the streaming preview.

Same here. Just crash and now can't open any md file.

Just pushed v2.6.26 to direct customers. Setapp and Mac App Store
customers will have to wait for the update to be reviewed before it's
available. When you get it, though, it should solve this issue.
If you're a direct (Paddle) customer and unable to launch Marked at all
in order to check for automatic updates, open Utilities/Terminal.app and
run this on the command line:
open -F -a "Marked 2"
That will open a fresh copy with no saved windows that will cause it to
crash, then you can use Marked->Check for Updates to get the latest
version.
