The clipboard preview was really designed as just a quick way to render clipboard contents one time. You can save the preview window as Markdown and then update that file as much as needed. Can you detail the situation in which it would be more convenient to repeatedly update the clipboard than to work with an actual file, just so I understand the request better?

I'm trying to use Marked 2 to generate my table of contents from markdown documents created in Taio and I've also approached the developers of Taio to find a way to trigger the opening of a markdown file currently being worked on in their editor without having to drill deeply into the ~/Library/Containers directory tree to open the file manually.

For now, the clipboard approach gives me a quick way to generate a table of contents and export the file as PDF or DOCX.
