Marked 2 crashes when opening or creating a new file
Marked 2 is crashing when opening a markdown file or trying to create a new one.
I've tried opening in cli with open -Fa "Marked 2" and also deleting the preference file and none of those worked.

So the app launches properly, but crashes as soon as it tries to open a Markdown file, whether existing or creating a new one, correct? Could you open /Applications/Utilities/Console and see if there's a crash report for Marked 2?
Also please include the output of Help->Report an Issue with any crash reports you locate. Please attach them as files and don't paste their contents into a message (gets unreadable).

I am also experiencing this issue. I tried deleting and reinstalling but did not solve the issue. Attaching Report text and crash log.

@rickbolla can you give me more specifics? Is it crashing ANY time you try to open a file, when creating a new file, on specific files, or all of the above?

This is happening every time…existing files, newly created files from within Marked 2, and previewing inside of Multi Markdown Composer. It has been happening for several months.

I note in your settings that you're using a custom preprocessor. If you disable that in Preferences->Advanced, are you able to open files again?

Disabling the preprocessor fixed the problem! I do remember enabling it a long time ago, but I don’t remember when or why.
