You're doing it correctly, and when you hit Save in MarsEdit, the preview should update to show your current post. If this isn't happening, please let me know which version of MarsEdit you're using and where it comes from (Mac App Store, direct purchase).

I have confirmed that the versions you list all work together on my end. Did you hit ⌘S in the MarsEdit editor after opening the MarsEdit Preview in Marked?

Yes, I have. My concern is that some sort of configuration setting is missing to make this work.

    1. Open document in MarsEdit.

In the Preview menu in the menubar you’ll see an option to launch the MarsEdit Preview. MarsEdit <>doesn’t store files on the disk, so you have to launch the special window. Once open, it will preview the post you’re editing in MarsEdit, keeping up with you as you change posts.

    2. So since there is no Preview menu, I click the Preview icon in the MarsEdit edit window.

You can save manually to update the preview, or let Marked watch for autosaves and update automatically.

    3. Where is the documentation to do this? If MarsEdit does not store files on disk, how does Marked2 watch for autosaves?
