Locally linked images do not show in Marked. I use Typora or VS Code with Marked and since updating to Big Sur, I cannot get local image links to display in Marked. I have tried using absolute and relative paths and, while they show in the text editor, they do not show in the Marked Preview. I keep my images and notes repository in OneDrive, which holds all of the images that I am linking. The images are missing in both the preview and the export of the documents

Are you on the Mac App Store, Paddle, or Setapp version of Marked?

    Thanks,
    Brett

It sounds like you're running into permissions errors due to sandboxing.
The first thing to try is going to Preferences->Advanced and clicking
"Update Permissions" in the Custom Processor settings. That should
ostensibly give Marked access to load assets from anywhere on your
drive, though it's a bit hit and miss with sandboxing permissions. If
that fails, please let me know and I can provide a free crossgrade to
the Paddle version, which doesn't have any of the sandboxing issues.
(You can also use the Setapp version, if you're a Setapp subscriber).

I tried updating permissions, but am still running into errors. Would I be able to cross grade to the Paddle version? I am not a Setapp subscriber. Thanks!

I'll send a license code to the email you're logged in with here.

    Thanks,
    Brett
