Hashtags with numbers?

I'm using Zettelkasten's The Archive as an editor (doubt it matters but just in case) and when I preview my files with Marked 2, any hashtag that begins with a number is still rendered as a title like it was in a previous version. For example, I'm tagging several files #2020 so I can find things I wrote this year. I've ticked the preference box to treat the pound sign as a tag, but it only renders correctly with an initial letter, not number. Doesn't matter which style I choose. Am I missing something? Should tags not begin with a digit? Screenshot attached for reference. Thanks!
