When I start a second level list item in a bulleted list the item is set in italic, even when the word is set as bold (e.g. **example**

* list
** example
** **example**

In the preview function of iA Writer this doesn't go wrong and everything is rendered as expected. The strange thing is, that only the first list item is set as italic, the second and following items are rendered as should be.

    This isn't how you make an indented list in Markdown. I don't know what iA Writer is using but lists are always created like this (using indentation):

    * list
    * example
    * **example**

    Thanks Brett, I didn't use Markdown (much) before I started using iA Writer and the latter uses one extra asterisk per indented level:

    * level one
    ** level two
    *** leven three

    See the screenshot form the iA Writer help file.
