Preferences not working
I selected "show welcome on launch panel". However, half of the time that selection is not honored. I have to go in and reselect. Can you help me get this resolved?

The preference item really should read "Show welcome panel on next launch." Every time it displays, it disables itself, so it only shows once. Why do you want it to show up on every launch?

Because I haven't read and digested all of it yet. Pretty common for these kinds of things to continue to open until they are disabled...in my experience. Don't you agree? The way you have it set up, a person has to remark the option, close the app and then reopen it, in order to see it. Kind of unusual.

Any thoughts on what I said, Brett?

It makes sense, but I've always found that annoying, personally. There's a menu item under help that will launch it any time you need it, does that help?

Good enough. Thanks much.
