Remote Images...?
The following image does not display:
what am I doing wrong? It seems that this is std markdown format - no?

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

I think that Marked isn't taking kindly to the query variable (?picture=) part of the image string. You can save the image locally or to an image service and link from there if needed.
This is fixed in the next version.
