   A lot more detail would be helpful. Are you able to load any Markdown documents? Do you have a crash or hang log available in Console?

   Have you removed your system Ruby (/usr/bin/ruby)?

   Try markdown document.
   No console log.
   No system Ruby(/usr/bin/ruby), I have brew Ruby.

       $ ruby -v
       ruby 1.9.3p374 (2013-01-15 revision 38858) [x86_64-darwin12.2.0]

   Marked wont work without the system Ruby in place.
