<p><img alt="BAMTECH Contacts">{width=4in #fig:bamtechcontacts}</p>
<p>If I view the file within DEVONthink, it renders the PNG file that link points to. If I open the file in Marked 2 then it shows a placeholder, but not the image.</p>
<p>For documents I add to git, then I do a separate image folder, but for this personal notes that I may share to a couple people on the team when needed, I would render a PDF file to share.</p>

It's a reference to its own database, not directly to any file or alias on disk.</p>
