Is there any reason why Marked can't export an RTF file?

Every attempt I've made at getting decent RTF output has been a mess thus far, but it's on my roadmap to solve before the next release. I'm hoping to have ODT and RTF export nailed down soon.

In the meantime, it is possible to select all in the main preview, copy and paste it into an RTF document or email. That method has the added benefit of maintaining styling, which it doesn't look like I'll be able to accomplish using the API.

Just curious if this is still an issue, or if my problems with RTF are unique to me. Generally RTF export works decently, but indents (text preceded with >) are problematic--in that they don't work.

It's still an issue. Webkit is not cooperating with the copy to clipboard, and I'm still looking for a workaround.

    Hi all,

    To add some input.
It does work fine with CMD+A in preview mode then CMD+V in Textedit.app but not with scroll wheel "Copy Rich Text" or "Save RTF"

    Cheers.

This is highly improved for the next version. The output from Copy Rich Text and Save RTF now exceed the quality of a straight copy/paste, and retain images, formatting, etc. Coming soon.
