Styling the print headers and footers

I appreciate the addition of headers and footers for printing (actually I use them for producing paginated PDFs rather than printing as such, but same difference).

What I would like is the ability to apply simple styling to these - font and colour would be enough. I've put some effort into a custom stylesheet and the headers and footers do not match very well....

Thanks!

I'm working on this. It's possible to make the headers function with
CSS, but I'm concerned about allowing font sizes to be altered. I'll
likely end up adding special classes for custom stylesheets that allow
direct styling of font/color/background but not size, which would solve
the problem in most cases. Coming soon.

Would it be possible to process the header and footer as markdown.

We need to generate PDFs with a logo in the letterhead, and address information in the footer.

Possible, yes. It's on my list of features to add, but it's not at the
top at this point. I'll consider this a +1 to bump it a little higher.

    Consider this another +1.
I love using Marked2, but am having to fall back on pandoc to create PDFs with logo in etc.

Another +1! This would be a huge win for Marked 2 as it would finally let me jettison Microsoft Turd forever!

Another +1. Logo and some color in the header/footer would be great.

Any updates on this feature? I too would very much like to be able to style footer (particularly font size).

    Hi Brett,

    another +1

Would be really great when one can customize the footer using some custom CSS styles!

    Regards,
    Feek

I've added font, font size, and text color control. I'm not sure it's
going to get more flexible than that, as there are plenty of other
    priorities.
