The WebKit print system (used to generate the PDFs, same as Print->Save to PDF) tends to rasterize those pretty badly. If that's the case for you, the better option is to export the PDF to PNG (or possibly JPEG) images. If not, let me know, I'll have more questions.

2: You can use the default print page setup dialog, available via File->Page Setup. If you create a custom size significantly different from a standard size, it's possible you'd see unpredictable results in formatting and line breaks. Let me know if that happens.

Bretttag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/430406952017-07-22T09:25:26Z2017-07-22T09:25:27ZPaper size and image quailty

Hi Brett,

Thank you for your response. The page setup worked wonders.

The images I use are already pngs and thus should not be affected by what you suggested.

Spadertag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/430406952017-07-22T15:38:22Z2017-07-22T15:38:22ZPaper size and image quailty

That's odd. Can you provide an example for me?

Create a folder

Add a simple markdown document with an image or two in the same
folder

Export the result from Marked to PDF in the same folder

(optional) Take a screenshot of your export settings, save to folder

Zip the whole folder and attach it to a response here.

Thanks!

The rasterization appears equivalent:

That said, the PDF example you provided is definitely showing increased blurriness. It appears that the Marked style you're using is causing the PNG to resize for print in a way that the print system isn't dealing with well. That's my best initial guess anyway. What Style are you using in the preview?

Brett
