MS Word export question

I want to convert Markdown text from an app into MS Word format. I paid my ten bucks for Marked base on the hugely favorable reviews. My first test was promising. I don't need to convert complicated input formats. I have two-level bullets, indents, bold, etc. I want the output to look good of course, but again – I'm not particularly fussy.

But check out the attached files. "Marked" is the way the Markdown text was interpreted from the text file. Looks great to me. Now look at Docx. This is the way the exported file looks like in Word from the exported file (exported as DOCX). Vastly different – and not what I can accept. I would have to edit the Word file, which is what I don't want to have to do.

I have also attached a screenshot of the PDF export. I would be thrilled if the DOCX version looked like this.
