   Chrome gives me a “SSL error”, Safari just hangs when clicking the “buy” button. I bought version 1 via Mac store - not a big deal but seems like it should at least provide some upgrade info if not ability to update via the app.

   preventing access to the payment system?

   The Mac App Store doesn't provide an upgrade mechanism for me, and I
   can't have it install a non-MAS version automatically, so there's really
   nothing I can do there. That's why I provide the coupon.
