Moving Marked to a new Mac

What is the best/correct method for moving Marked 2 (updated from first version) from the old Mac it was installed on to a new Mac?

    You can install as usual and copy preference files as needed. It depends on what you need to preserve and which version you're using (MAS or direct purchase).

    Direct purchase (originally via Paddle)

    Have copied the app to Applications
    and the marked2.plist and marky.plist to Library/Preferences
    and a Marked 2 folder to Library/Application Support

    But I am only getting the 7 day trial version. I can find no trace of a license code to enter. Would this have been done automatically within the app when updating from the original version?

    No, you would have received a license at some point. You can retrieve it at my.paddle.com. Let me know if you have any issues.
