Adding a share extension

I recently purchased Marked 2, thanks for creating it, and I noticed that it's not listed in the share menu of a Day One entry. Marked 2 is also not listed in the Share Menu list: System Preferences > Extensions > Share Menu.

Are there plans to add a share extension to Marked 2?

Thanks.

Possibly. There are Services available to preview a selection or the
clipboard, but given that Marked 2 doesn't currently have any publishing
services, I haven't considered it a "Share" endpoint.

I mentally skipped over the mention of Day One. That had originally been
implemented by the Day One devs, and then disappeared in a recent update
and I haven't contacted them about it yet. I'll work with them to at
    least get that option back.

That would be great, thanks. I was using Marked and just upgraded to Marked 2 this past weekend. I primarily use Marked for viewing my changelog and readme files in my development projects and didn't realize I could preview my entry from Day One until I read a comment online.

An awesome feature that I see in Marked 2 is the ability to export markdown text into a myriad of formats. (Keeps me having to search for command line utilities.) Having such a robust export feature might also be a reason to consider adding a share extension.

    Thanks again.

Hello - I'm having the same issue with Devonthink. Devonthink does basic markdown. However, on the "share" menu (and in the system prefs), Markdown2 does not appear. This then requires manual cutting/pasting/etc to get a document from Devonthink to Marked2. (Devonthink CAN share with many other apps, so I don't think this is a Devonthink limitation).

Can you please reconsider this addition?

Yes, I'll put it on my list, as it would make things simpler. In the meantime, though, any file you can drag to an external editor can also be dragged to Marked.

    Thanks!

Free trial user and this was my first use case I was hoping to see that Marked covered. Am using Things 3. I was hoping that Marked would be a Share endpoint so that I could PDF my Things 3 projects. Things 3 shares Markdown if you select Mail for example.

This has been on my list for a while. I think it's a good idea, I'll bump up the priority.

    Thanks,
    Brett
