external editors
Is there any way to use Marked if the text is written and stored in Evernote or VoodooPad? Both use a database and are not file based. In both those apps you can open a note or page using an external editor, edit, and then save back to Evernote or VoodooPad. How can I integrate Marked for Previewing?

The ODB Editor protocol used for opening in external editors doesn't help Marked at all. The best solution I can offer at this point is watching the document directory for changes. I've already developed a script to make this work in Evernote, and you can find it in the Marked Bonus Pack.
Scrivener support has been incorporated directly into the version that came out today (1.4), and I'll be directly incorporating more applications soon. I'll work on a script for VoodooPad, which does store plain text files within the document bundle. I'll update the Bonus Pack when I have something working.

I have been using the latest beta (version 5) of VoodooPad. It does have the capability to specify a page as Markdown and also a preview window but Marked offers more features and flexibility. VoodooPad does have a "Send to" plugin which sends a page to an external editor, perhaps sending to Marked would be a possibility. In any case if you come up with a solution for VoodooPad could you make sure it works on version 5. Thanks in advance.

I'm using 5 as well. I'll look into the send to… feature, but it wouldn't allow for automatic updates for the current page on save, which would be my goal. I'll update as soon as I have a working solution.

It's done for 1.5, no ETA on release yet, though.
