Is there a way to make underlines in Marked?
Hello.
Is there a way to set Marked so that instead of italics, underlines are produced? A professor requires bold text and underlined text for something I submit to her.
Thank you.

You could easily adjust a custom style to style italics as underlines. If you'd like me to set that up, just let me know which base style you want to use and I can send it back as a Custom Style with the adjustment.
The other option would be to use a custom script to replace a new syntax with underlines, allowing you to still use italics as italics. I wrote a quick script that will render
{{your text}}
as<u>your text</u>
in the output. It requires a separate multimarkdown install and a little command line knowledge, though. Let me know if that's of interest and you're comfortable doing that. I can assist as needed.2 Posted by Lydia on 01 Apr, 2012 01:58 AM
If you could put it in Swiss, that would be wonderful. Thank you!

Here you go. Just add the Underlines.css file attached to Marked's custom styles under Style in the preference panel. Then select it as your preview style in the dropdown and anything you have set to italics will show up as non-italicized, underlined text. If I I misunderstood the requirements at all, let me know.
